Algodle trains the step before the code: seeing which technique a problem needs. Each day there's one original problem, and everyone gets the same one. No accounts, and nothing to keep up with.
The daily problem
Read the problem, then tap Pick the pattern and lock in the technique you'd reach for. If you're not sure, tap Not sure, show me. That's never counted against you. Then comes the reveal, in four parts: the Ask (what the problem really wants), the Tell (the words that give the technique away), the Approach (a solution that has been run against its tests, which you can step through), and the Trap (why the other answers don't fit). A new problem arrives each day at 07:00 UTC.
Past days
Tap the calendar button in the top bar to see every problem already shown, newest first. You can narrow the list by difficulty. Past days are played the same way as today's, and your pick isn't kept, apart from Mix-ups below.
Mix-ups
The Mix-ups tab, beside Past days, shows pairs of patterns you've mixed up on more than one problem, with how to tell the two apart and links to where they came up. A single slip never shows. Tap Got it to clear a pair, and it also clears itself when you get a problem right that offered the other pattern as its trap. There are no numbers or percentages, and it's all kept on your device.
Adjusting the text size
Tap Aa in the top bar to make the problem, the reveal, and the code larger or smaller until they read comfortably.
Using it offline
Today's problem is saved on your device once it loads, so it opens instantly and still works with no connection. Past days that came with the app work offline too. A new day's problem, or a past day added since your version of the app, needs a connection.
Your privacy
There's nothing to sign up for and nothing to delete. Algodle keeps no account and collects nothing about you. The full details are in the privacy policy.
